Wretched Son

Been teasing this new release for a while, and so it is with great pleasure that I introduce you to my latest creation:  Wretched Son.

It’s a different sort of post-apocalyptic story of muscle cars and fortress towns and little enclaves fighting to survive on the edge of the wasteland.  Told through the eyes of a young boy, a feral youth saved from savagery by a kindly stranger, and who still hasn’t quite figured out how the whole “civilization” thing works just yet, you’ll probably recognize a lot of wild west influences in this book.

Those two genres, with their savage raiders, near lawless towns, and dry aesthetics, fit hand in glove and I’m a little surprised we don’t see a lot more cross-pollination between the two in film and writing.  That’s a big gap, and one I’m happy to step up and fill, and I think you’ll be happy to spend a little time in a New American Wild West.

The Kindle version is now live, and the dead-tree version should go live within the week.
