Let’s take a peek at the current state of Science By Snout Counting, shall we?
The Supreme Dark Lord already posted a big brain analysis of this article, focussed primarily on whether or not evolution by natural selection is true, but here I’m going to do more of a meta-analysis on the arguments presented. I’m not going to post a link to the article, because it’s trash and doesn’t deserve it.
The the first thing to note is that, if you accept this concept, it becomes a blade that cuts both ways. You can’t just apply it to a single population. You have to apply it to everyone, friend and for alike. As well see later, the axe grinder who wrote this article really only accepts this fundamental premise in so fast as it can be used as a weapon against his political opponents.
Attempting to dismiss the argument outbreak, and easy, and accurate; however, let’s assume for the moment that it’s true and see what happens when you apply that measuring stick objectively, shall we?
Despite all evidence to the contrary, these people still exist.

Eddie could have made a much stronger argument by applying his lens to his fellow useful idiots, but he is cunning enough to know the useful idiots will never notice that. And even if he did so, they wouldn’t see it because of their own deep-seated motivated reasoning.
It’s not about science or fact or the unrelated concept of truth. It’s about the friend-enemy distinction. Eddie’s almost ready to admit that, but he still has to fluff up his case a bit more.
Let’s rephrase the above – let’s dispense with the pseudo-science dog whistles – people who can’t change their minds in the face of evidence are brain damaged morons to whom you shouldn’t listen.
Okay. And what does our fundamentalist author use as evidence? A comparison of British and American populations, the latter of which is increasingly changing its mind on a fundamentalist issue.
Eddie has completely inverted the evidence-conclusion connection to justify his own motivated reasoning. It’s not about having a flexible world view, it’s about sticking with the herd, and not just any herd, but his herd. And here the mask comes fully off:
And there it is. It’s not about what’s right or wrong. The author admits that it’s about who gets to decide good versus evil, and he reserves that right to the materialists whose houses are built on the ever shifting sands of consensus rather than the immovable rock of God’s Truth.
He is not a scientist. Eddie is a politician wearing a lab coat, and by his own argument he Carrington pan okay you have a picture of demonstrates that you should not listen to him. He’s just too stupid to see it.
